Down town Miami is vibrant and ever evolving at a very fast pace. The mouth of The Miami River is embedded with rich history from the founders Henry Flagler, Julia Tuttle and William Brickell. There is a great deal happening downtown, with new residential developments and the performing arts center scheduled to open in 2003.
